Chantal or Crap-tal?

I have the yarn, I have the drive, but will it be worth it? Do you think the ribbing on the sweater is too bulky? I knit a swatch to see for sure and it is rather bumpy but it also seems to have pretty good drape. I also knit a swatch in Garter Rib, which looks nice but will it hang ok?
