I guess I fall into the category of people that are leery about spending on "frivolous" things in case the economy tanks even more in the future. But, that's OK because Kristel on Ravelry did the sweetest thing yesterday. She noticed that I queued her great bayret pattern and sent me a message asking if I'd like a copy for my birthday. Isn't that nice? I really hope I can find time to cast on this weekend.
