Now I have found something to give maple syrup and bacon soup a run for its money. Bacon chocolate bar! I was wandering through Whole Foods yesterday when I stumbled upon the crazyness. I had to buy it. Although horrified at first, I'm starting to think that there is a chance that it could be worth the $7 (!!!) it costs for such strangeness.
On my walk to Whole Foods I thought I would catch up on some Stash & Burn. I hadn't listened to it since last summer and now I remember why. I was halfway through one episode, which shall go unnamed, when I was so utterly annoyed by one of their guests that I had to turn it off . My iPod picked up right where I had left off. I suffered through the interview and continued on to listen to a few episodes (?). I think the podcast redeemed itself for me and I can continue to enjoy their ramblings.
One of the episodes was the one on socks. I have to totally agree with Nicole on her dislike of sock knitting. I think I have embraced the fact that I really don't enjoy knitting socks. The problem is that I enjoy having them, which makes having mismatched socks all that more appealing - there is no second sock syndrome that way. Hopefully I will be able to make it through both socks on my current project because I think it will be a really cute pair.

Even I can't get behind the bacon chocolate bar. Have you tried it yet? Is it like chocolate covered pretzels (you know, sorta salty) only meatier?
Ok, I have to figure out how to get comments emailed to me.
I still haven't tried it. I sat and stared at the box one night but everytime I went to try it I got grossed out by the fact that the bacon could be like hunks of fat sitting in the chocolate.
